The handshake between Earth and Space has always served as a reminder of both our power and our fragility as humans. Through the Commemorative Bench Program, KGA Design has had several opportunities to be involved with spatial exploration.
The Stafford Bench (currently available for auction/sale) is perhaps the most currently relevant example of such work. Set in the American Embassy in Moscow, and celebrating Lt. General Thomas P Stafford for his achievements in cosmology and spatial exploration, the bench is a testament of the USA’s collaboration with Russia in the field of astronomical development.
Differences fade. When working together, rather than against each other, for our common goals – monumental things can happen!
